Randall Keys


Randy Keys is a retired Master Narcotics Detective from the Tampa Police Department.
Randy worked for the Tampa police for 23 years including 21 years as an Undercover Narcotics Detective. The last 6 years prior to retirement he was assigned as a DEA Task Force Agent with the Tampa DEA Methamphetamine Group where he was Clandestine Lab, Site Safety and Tactical Entry Certified. During his career he has investigated and participated in all aspects of Narcotics enforcement.
Randy also teaches courses throughout the United States, with the Multijurisdictional Counterdrug Task Force Training (MCTFT) including Surveillance, Undercover Operations, and Clandestine Labs.
Randy is an adjunct professor with the Hillsborough Community College Police Academy where he teaches Narcotics, Officer Survival and Firearms. In addition he also is a Firearms Instructor for the Tampa Police Department. Randy Keys has also taught courses for the DEA, the U.S Attorneys Office and in Costa Rica.
Randy is a graduate of the National Drug Enforcement Officers Academy (NDEOA) which is a 9 week course by DEA in Quantico, Va. and a Graduate of St. Leo College with a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice.
