TEAM MANAGEMENT; SUPERVISING TOGETHER

Criminals win, communities suffer, and agencies hurt when law enforcement teams and their supervisors lack effective cohesion. A law enforcement supervisor and the law enforcement officers/agents/deputies/detectives within a team must know, or be willing to learn, how to work together in order to perform effectively and consistently at a high level. Countless dynamics may impact the team’s ability to maintain this heightened level of performance execution: personalities within a team, specialized team missions, differing levels of expertise and experience between the supervisor and team members, and other social determinants.

This course will examine the roles of a supervisor and the officers/agents/deputies/detectives within a team with unfailing optimal team performance as the ultimate goal. This course is truly for anyone supervising a team at any level, and those working within a team at any level.

This course is designed as a 16 hour class.
